About the Role

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Lunchtime Supervisor to join our friendly team at Astley CE Primary School.

As a small, rural Church of England primary school, we pride ourselves on providing a welcoming and nurturing environment where every child feels valued and supported.

You will play an important role in ensuring that our children enjoy safe, happy and positive lunchtimes. Working alongside our dedicated staff team, you will supervise pupils during lunch and play, encourage positive behaviour, support children's social development and help create an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children, has a positive and flexible approach and can demonstrate a commitment to our school's Christian values and ethos.

Our latest Ofsted inspection in May 2026 recognised particular strengths in early years, inclusion, and personal development and wellbeing, with safeguarding standards met. Inspectors also highlighted that staff feel valued and supported.

This is a wonderful opportunity to become part of a supportive school community and make a positive difference to children's everyday experiences.
